No investigation. No qualification. No consideration. No compromise. No
sensitivity. Total, immediate, blanket ban.

If these kooks ever get a bit of power they'll kill all our exports, eg
starting with our #1 export.

Got to agree with you this time.
The Greens wont stop until everyone is vegetarian, and even then they
will probably demand research to see if vegetables have feelings.

"TREASURY has conceded the federal financial outlook began
deteriorating as far back as 2002-03 and was already in "structural"
deficit by 2006-07 despite the large headline surpluses recorded
during the final years of the Howard government.

"In that year, when the Howard government recorded a headline budget
surplus of $17.2 billion, the structural deficit was about 0.3 per
cent of GDP, or about $3 billion according to Treasury.

"A director of the economic consultancy Access Economics, Chris
Richardson, said yesterday that the estimates confirmed that the
resources boom which got under way in 2002-03 had masked a weakening
in the budget position during the economy's good times".

They will then impose penalties on those vegies who aren't following
strict vegan practices. Well, ya gotta penalize *somebody*!

Not discussing the alternate policies, just endlessly trumpeting the very
latest political attack line from the lieberal party propaganda
machinery. Foster as always.

That may or may not be the case.
Have you got any figures on how many of the Greens are actually
vegetarian and how many aren't?

I tend to worry about an other aspect of the unconstrained live export
issue.
Why do we have to export live animals when we could export meat or
processed food products?
Isn't "value adding" advantageous for the Australian economy?
Do we have to remain the cheap quarry and dumb cattle yard of the world
forever?

No. I have spoken to some Greens in private though. Some are more
outlandish than others, but the loonier Greens certainly have a
vegetarian agenda.

I seem to remember them backing research to determine whether fish
feel pain a few years ago. It was part of their unwritten agenda to
ban recreational fishing.

When I was an ardent Liberal I used to worry about the Greens stealing
votes because their second preferences usually went to Labor in
marginal seats. Now I don't really care.

Everyone is apparently surprised at the live export cruelty, the greens
have campaigned for years against more aspects of the trade than the
blinkered masses saw on 4 corners. The trade has already had its chance
to clean up its act.

The WA ag minister says if we don't sell cattle to Indonesia they will
buy from less humane sources, I wonder where they might find those?

We compete with their local market - not very likely stopping our
exports will make them vegos, much less a glut on our market would stop
us eating meat.

Seems it doesn't matter what you do if it turns a dollar.

It's all about the economy with you.

You'd sell your grandmother into prostitution if she was able to chip in few
more dollars for her cost at the nursing home.

Luckily for us the majority of the people are nothing like you, and they
have spoken, (as is the case in a democracy), and action will be taken on
this matter, thanks to The Green and the independents and GetUp etc.

If people had to rely on the useless major parties for any action, noting
would have been done and more animals would *still* have been led to
slaughter in atrocious manner.

Leadership is making the "hard decisions" for the long term, not pretending
there is "no problem lets keep going".

The typical economic "doom Sayers" always rise up and claim *any* action to
solve this problem is going to *crash the economy*.

How confident would you be if all our economy is so geared that any slight
problem like a "natural diaster" or "cruelty in live animal export" is going
to crash it?

With most sensible people if a wheel falls of a car , they stop and fix the
wheel.
But dumbarse BJ in his late model Jalopy says I still have 3 wheels and if I
stop "the
economy" will crash !

The topic is "live cattle exports" you silly moron. People like you
couldn't give a stuff about either the cattle or the farmers'
livelihoods which are impacted by your insensitive, ill-considered and
*stupid* call for a ban without any consideration.

5 abbatoirs don't follow the rules. 85 abbatoirs do. You and your thick
party would ban exports to them *all*.

If The Greens were worth anything, we would export them first.
Unfortunately, all they are is a fucking liability.

referendum. You have fuck-all idea about *democracy*.

If those socialist arseholes haven't got their greedy, grasping paws
out for government handouts 24/7, they're carping and whining.

I read a report some time ago which showed Australian farmers were the
least educated in the developed world. They're predominantly ultra
conservative, xenophobic, AGW deniers, and dumb as shit, which is
pretty much what one would expect from right-wingers.

They didn't give a toss and stayed stum about the mindless brutality
which they knew was endemic in the live cattle trade and the live
sheep trade before it.

What sticks in my craw is the way the hypocrites are now pretending to
condemn practices in Indonesia when they are just as bad with the
treatment of animals here:

http://tinyurl.com/44sqywf

As long as there was a quid in it, fuck the animals.

It's only when the shit hits the fan that those callous bastards feign
concern and pretend to be doing something, and that's only because its
costing them money.

Well, BOO-FUCKING-HOO.

God vomits on you.
