Post by NefeshBarYochaiThousands have taken to social media this week to condemn Israel after
its authorities arrested the Palestinian owners of a historic occupied
East Jerusalem bookshop for "inciting terrorism" with Palestinian
literature, using a children's colouring book as proposed evidence.
Educational Bookshop is a decades-old bookstore chain respected by
locals and internationals alike, with both Arabic and English-language
locations. The Muna family have become well-known figures in the local
Palestinian community and with diplomats, academics and writers who
have visited occupied East Jerusalem.
On Sunday, Israeli plain-clothed agents raided two of its three
branches. Witnesses told Middle East Eye that the agents entered
around 3pm as if they were regular customers. After five minutes, they
suddenly produced a search warrant and ordered customers to leave.
After about 90 minutes, the Israelis left after detaining the shops
owners, Mahmoud Muna and his nephew Ahmad. Both have been taken into
custody. Many of their books were taken away with them.

Filistin was the Arabic name given to the region after Muslim armies
conquered it in 629 CE. The name "Palestine" was already in use by the
time of the Crusaders in the Middle Ages.
During the Ottoman Empire, the lands of Palestine were divided between
the Sanjak of Jerusalem and the Viyaelet of Beirut. However, the term
"Palestine" was not an official designation. Many Arabs and Ottomans
who lived in Palestine during this time called the area "Southern
Syria".
The Ottoman map Kitâb-i Cihannümâ (Book of World's Image), created in
the 17th century, shows Palestine labeled as "Land of Palestine". This
is likely the first time Palestine was shown on an Ottoman map.
The British began using the name "Palestine" to refer to the region
after World War I, when they were given a mandate by the League of
Nations to administer the territory, which became known as "Mandatory
Palestine" under British rule; essentially, the British adopted the
name "Palestine" to designate this newly defined political entity
under their control.
After World War I: Following the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the
British occupied the region now known as Palestine.
League of Nations Mandate: The League of Nations officially assigned
the mandate for Palestine to Britain.

The term Palestine has been associated variously and sometimes
controversially with this small region, which some have asserted also
includes Jordan. Both the geographic area designated by the name and
the political status of it have changed over the course of some three
millennia. The region (or at least a part of it) is also known as the
Holy Land and is held sacred among Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
Since the 20th century it has been the object of conflicting claims of
Jewish and Arab national movements, and the conflict has led to
prolonged violence and, in several instances, open warfare.
"Mandatory Palestine": This is the term used to describe the region
under British rule.

Islam is of course synonymous with terrorism
There are more Australian Muslims fighting with al Qaeda linked
groups than there are in the Australian Defence Force fighting against them!
.
Major majority of the worlds refugees are created by Islam since the
days of Mohammad. Mainly because Islam is actually a violent political
process, not a religion at all.
Islamic conquests have always been by infiltration (Trojan Horse:
Al-Hijra, The Islamic Doctrine of Immigration). This is how Islam
grows, a violent political process using , terrorist attack from
within, eventually followed by surprise attack, followed by killing
for killings sake.
Once Moslems have foothold maintaining rule is held by continued
carnage and ruthlessness.
Until it's recognized Islam is the problem nothing will change!
How Islam began and still violently grows
